The text at the top of the painting says Svinninge Ungdomsskole, but the S in Svinninge does not show on the photograph. The painting is my first attempt to paint a Trompe l'Oeil painting, where the perspective in the painting fits the perspective you have when walking down the stairs.
The title of the painting is Follow the White Rabbit and is of course referring to Alice in Wonderland and referring to having the courage to fling yourself into something new and unknown - to go meet new challenges with an open mind, as Alice does and as I wish for youngsters to do when they choose to attend a class at the youth school.
